This page is dedicated to Gill Scott-Heron who, sadly , died in May 2011.
I was priveliged to mix all the concerts of what turned out to be his last European tour. The man was pure genius and will be greatly missed.
He will, however, continue to inspire the younger generation who have got into his music and his message.
I managed to get some multitrack recordings during the tour and have made a "best of" CD that I sent. alas too late, to Gil .
He liked it but as far as I know it never reached his record company XL RECORDINGS. Hopefully the complicated legal situation will
eventually be sorted out and the CD will be published.
